Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Shiptern. By using our site or booking services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Acceptance

You must be at least 18 years old, or use Shiptern through a parent, guardian, or authorized company representative. If you use Shiptern on behalf of an organization, you represent you have authority to bind that organization.

2. Shiptern Services

Shiptern provides internship-focused logistics services including:

• Flatpack box kits and related packing materials
• Door pickup and door delivery coordination through carrier partners
• Tracking and return-shipping workflow support
• Company-sponsored intern shipping workflows

Shiptern does not provide housing services, auto transport, stipend disbursement, ACH lending or repayment products, or full intern program operations.

3. Accounts and Eligibility

You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and account information accurate. You are responsible for activity under your account unless you promptly report unauthorized use.

4. Pricing, Orders, and Payment

• Displayed pricing is guidance until booking is confirmed.
• Pricing may vary by lane, timing, kit size, and carrier conditions.
• Payment is due at booking confirmation.
• Shiptern accepts major credit and debit cards.

Cancellation and refund outcomes depend on order stage and pickup timing. Contact support for order-specific review.

5. Shipping and Carrier Terms

Carrier partners perform physical transportation. Delivery windows are projected ranges and may be affected by weather, carrier constraints, and force majeure events.

You agree to:

• Pack items safely and truthfully describe shipment contents
• Comply with prohibited-item restrictions and carrier requirements
• Provide accurate pickup and delivery addresses and contact details

6. Claims and Liability

If damage or loss occurs, you must submit a claim with required documentation in the timeframe provided in your order details. Shiptern's total liability is limited to amounts recoverable under applicable service terms and carrier coverage, plus amounts paid by you for the affected shipment where required by law.

Shiptern is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, except where prohibited by law.

7. Company-Sponsored Programs

Companies may invite interns and sponsor kits. Company admins are responsible for uploaded roster data and authorization to submit participant information. Interns may be allowed to pay upgrade differences when selecting larger kits.

8. Prohibited Use

• Fraudulent bookings or payment abuse
• Attempting to ship prohibited or dangerous items
• Interfering with platform operation, security, or availability
• Using automated scraping or abusive traffic without permission

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to protect users, carriers, and platform integrity.

10. Legal Terms

These Terms are governed by applicable U.S. law and the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflicts principles. Any unenforceable provision is severed and the remaining provisions remain in effect.

We may update these Terms. Material updates become effective when posted with a new effective date.
